I think to Buy and Sell Sections should be together rather then apart.

When someone goes to sell there product, I know Im not looking for an individual to buy it by looking through the buy section.

Just a thought.

On the other hand, if I'm looking to buy, say, a 24-70 L, I don't want to have to sort through all the other people who are trying to do the same just to find someone who's selling one. Plus, there is so much activity in the Classified: Sell alone that the first page (sorted by thread start time) only contains offers posted in the last 8 hours. "WTB:" would get lost very quickly there, especially if you consider that the Classified: Buy section has 2 days worth of new offers on the first page. They'd be spread over at least 6 pages if they were mixed in with the "Sell" items.

If I were going to offer something up for grabs, I'd check the Classified: Buy to see if I can save myself the trouble of posting a Sale ad for it.

I don't like the two being combined. Now I have to sort through too many pages to find whats for sale.

Wow, absolutely no offense meant to the OP, and surely reasonable minds can disagree reasonably, but that's a very bad suggestion. Other forums have those together and I hate it. Why would I want to look at what people want to buy if I'm only looking to buy something myself?

Don't listen to him.

Also, tom is right about the two zooms above.

Because maybe the price is too high for them, but not you.

Maybe you could elucidate? I really don't see how the price someone else is willing to pay for something enters into whether "Buy" and "Sell" offers should be in the same or different places.

If I want to buy something, first I'll look at the "Sell" area to see if anyone's offering it. If no one offers what I want for what I consider a reasonable price, I'll post a "WTB". If I want to sell something, I'd rather just look at the "Buy" area to see if there's anyone actively looking before I put up a "Sell" thread. And I don't want to look through all the other threads selling what may be the same thing I'm selling off while seeking someone who's already looking for what I have.
