I was searching for birds when I spotted this cute little guy. I suspect it is a yearling growing his first set of antlers. (1D3 with 300mm 2.8L)

Thanks Steve and Ralph. The second images is a tight crop of an image taken at the same distance as the first. I am impressed with how the sharp detail held up. I think I will keep my 1D3. (ISO 800, f10)
