Just asked a friend of mine in Korea to pick one up for me. (Photo Clam PC-30N) I searched the forum to no avail: so did you post a review about the Photo Clam PC-30N?

Conclusion. I have been using this tripod for the last 3 months and i am very happy with it, i will take it with me when never used to take a tripod before as its so small and light (compared to larger style) i have had no problems with it supporting the 70-200 i think anything bigger might be a issue. couldn't recommend it enough as a travel solution and alternative to a larger tripod Also mine came with spiked feet and a tool kit (Alan key etc.) JLB Photography Website

You can and you can even remount it upside down. I'm not sure how you'd mount anything to it if you left the column off though.

I may have to consider an upgrade... shutterbug guy wrote in post #11653713 You can and you can even remount it upside down. Regards, Roger That must take some additional dissection or force, because I wasn't able to remove the center column on mine... I really don't know why you'd want to, either...

With the column reversed one can really get up close and personal with macro subjects from overhead.

The B1 is slightly too large (or rather, wide) to fold up and be stored in the benro case. The B0 on the other hand, fits just fine.
