Thanks Svetlana - will do :) I see how I may have misrepresented the saying 'I went to NY and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt'

God how not funny am I?

More to come :)

I think it's just the compression that makes it look like that.

@KFormus - I like the concept and composition of it: the dark games room contrasts very nicely with the subtle smirk and lightness of the bride. My only suggestion would be to straighten the image out (horizontal lines on the pool table and from the wall).

I'm new to nit-picking with photos also and i've been working with making sure my photos are leveled out! but I like the idea!

Funny, I shot my first wedding on my birthday last year, had an engagement shoot this year, and have one booked for my birthday next year already. I really don't want to be the one to burst your bubble, but it doesn't do anything for me. The whole point of this shot being "different" is that it is taken by a pool table. If I was setting the shot, I would have incorporated it a bit more. Maybe place the bouquet in the foreground, then have the bride holding a pool stick blurred in the background, or something like that. The lighting is so-so, and because of that I think the white balance seems off. In theory, I can see why you were excited, but do you shoot many weddings?

Also, I would have lit it to get more detail out of that wallpaper.
