I asked my friend to do some modeling for me, and mind that she is only the second person I have ever photographed as a model/senior photo setting. What do you think? All cc is welcome and appreciated. Thanks.

I like the poses for the most part. Something to work on next time is the post processing. You may mean for them to have that color, but to me it unappealing as she looks orange in almost every shot. White balance is key....

Also watch your shutter speeds. A few of them have a bit of camera shake to them.

Still pretty good for only your second go! :)

Would agree that the post-processing is overdone or not done well. The skin color is not attractive imo. Beautiful model and she looks quite relaxed with you, so that is half the battle right there. Nice poses and sharpness to the photos.

Despite a new computer, the screen may not be calibrated... There are a myriad of programs out there to calibrate your screen--not sure what Mac's use though.
I like your shots, but agree to the colour difficulties. A couple would be stunning if the pp was more effective. Thanks for sharing

I think you have done a good job on the posing and have a great model to work with. All of the shots seem to capture a sense of playfulness which make them interesting to look at but like everyone else has pointed out the processing seems to be off on them. It looks to me like the contrast and saturation was boosted too much. If you can post a couple of the originals it would probably help in isolating the problem. Number 6 seems to be the most realistic to me.

Nice shots but yes watch the processing. Remember unless your monitor is calibrated, what looks good on yours does not mean it will look good on others

You need to buy a monitor calibration device. They go for $80 and higher.
