Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong section...

I was thinking about selling my Canon XTi SLR with the 18-55mm IS XSi kit lense and the Canon 55-250mm lense with the Canon ET-60 lense hood. It has about 4000 shutter clicks on it...I am the 2nd owner and it has only gotten about 500 shutter clicks from my end. Is 485 a good price to sell it for? It comes with all acessories, box, etc. and is in great condition.

It's always harder to sell a package deal versus selling each item individually. With that being said, I think $485 for all of that is an extremely good deal and someone would swoop that up in a heartbeat. Honestly, everything you listed is worth more than that.

Try searching in the For Sale forum and that should help give you a feel for what each item is worth. Sometimes it's worth it to hold out for top dollar -- at other times, it may not be worth the hassle and selling cheap is the way to go.

I think that is a good deal as well. You may get more if you sell the 55-250 and hood separate, you should at least list it that way and offer the $485 if they buy the entire thing.
