sRAW is my JPEG

Amen to that!

My only gripe with sRAW is the non-support on my imac.

When I open up my card on my desktop all I see are icons with names on them.

But lightroom fixes that just fine.

I just wished that Apple would fix this seemingly minor issue with an update of some sorts.

Raw and only Raw. I always want the best possible detail from every shot I take. They can always be converted and reduced later if necessary.

RAW only - my cards are 8GB (my fastest one that I use first), 32GB, and 16GB. Now that you can get a 2TB drive for $200 and a 32GB card for $80, why skimp on quality?

Just choose RAW or sRAW based on your printing size. As for any quality difference it's probably minute and not noticeable.

And on the long list of things that can negatively impact your image quality I'm sure sRAW is not at the top. Missed AF probably is.

Full sized RAW is slower and eats up a lot of storage .. probably not a concern for the casual shooter but for pros shooting & processing thousands of files weekly it's areal issue.

I shoot RAW. Only revert to sRAW when I start to get low on space on the CF card.

Same, the only time I use sRaw is to save space near the end of an event.

The files on the 5DII are so good it'd be a waste not to use it to it's full advantage. The crop possibilities are abundant.

Always RAW

I love the ability to crop my RAWs. As others have said: You can always delete data (resize your images) later, but you can't add data that's not there.

raw @ all times. i reasoned that if you are using up 1 of the 150000 shutter count, you might as well get as much MP as you can out of that one exposure.

well that and it helps when you have 4 1.5 TB drives in your computer LOL
