A member of a local European car club recently purchased a Saab Sonett from Seattle. Her trek back here to Minneapolis was full of breakdowns. She chronicaled the whole trip and she is now being featured in the bi-monthly magazine, "Nines."

She knew I was an aspiring pro automotive photographer and I already had her scheduled for a shoot with her MINI, so we changed plans and I did a shoot with her new (to her) Sonett.

Well, the guy that puts together "Nines" magazine is going to use some of my shots in the artical about the Seattle-Minneapolis adventure home!

Here are a few examples from the shoot.

Very well done images of a car not seen often in that kind of shape here in CA.

Nice rolling shots.

Thank you.

We had to do several laps up and down that road because there was only a short, maybe 1/4 mile section, that was smooth enough to shoot on.

I did shoot photos the whole length of the road, but I knew that most of the shots outside of the smooth part of the road were going to be useless.

And the rollers were done at about 40 mph while I was laying on the floor of a 2007 Saturn Vue shooting ou tof the rear hatch. I hooked my foot onto the folded down seat and hooked a seatbelt around my leg just to be sure even though we weren't going super fast.
