A group of friends rented a private track this past weekend, and I was there too shoot the event. I used this chance to work on a few things, my panning in particular. John Thawley was nice enough to give me some pointers on some of my images
If I could suggest a couple of things; you might want to try to move the cars/subject off-center... especially vertically. I think the cars would look a little more aggressive if they were lower in the frame. You'd need to get a straight horizon to do that... but I think that would also add to the strength of the image. The slash angle is a little redundant.

...and I decided to make that my focus for the day. I also read through his Journal entry about panning, The Pan Shot - Taking Control
that gave me some more technical insight into a skill that I had previously done purely based on trial/error and relying on what I had learned in the past.
