I'm excited about my new camera - a Canon 40D. I sold my Nikon D70s + lens so that I can make a switch over to Canon after much reading on the 40D. I was contemplating between a 40D and 50D, I decided to go with 40D as I can save a couple of hundreds for a lens while still able to get a great camera at a great price. However, I'm kinda lost at the moment getting myself familiarize with the camera. Anyway, I'm going to get myself familiarize with this camera now.

The 40D is a very good camera, and is a nice step up up from the D70.

Enjoy.

I would take a look at this book.

When I purchased my 40D it helped me learn a hell of a lot faster.
