...from the Milwaukee Zoo last weekend. Overall had a terrible outing, these are some of the few I liked at all. Tons of people, some construction, and just couldn't seem to find good angles/lighting of the animals:(. C & C always welcome and appreciated, thanks for looking!

Your photos are AWESOME! What lens did you use? Are these natural light or with flash?

Thank you Rayk! Lol, I don't think so, he was sleeping and just woke up enough to strike this pose, otherwise his eyes were closed in the rest:(

Thank you Geoff! The frames are a new experiment for me, I kind of thought they added to the images a bit ( or maybe distract the viewers from my mistakes :D)

Love that 2nd Cheetah!

Thank you, glad you like it! This is a really big crop shot, he was quite far away and just struck that pose before laying down for a nap; right place right time for once!

Thank you! These were all taken with the Canon 100-400L on a 40D with whatever light nature presented at the time (it was one of those cloudy one second, sunny the next kind of days).

I think you've done remarkably well. Lovely images of some great cats and the one giraffe. It looks as if you were almost at eye level for the giraffe shot... too bad you didn't get the amazing tongue in action lol... Thanks for sharing. Those two shots of the cheetah though are really amazing.

Thank you Michael, glad you liked them! Tried to get the tongue action with the Giraffe, but it was too quick, this was as close as I got:D. Did manage to get these tongues though....

Yup, he was in really dark shade in a hammock. This was taken during the only 10 seconds he woke up and moved, otherwise he slept the whole time. Seemed to be a recurring theme with the bears that day, I think it was too warm for them.
