Did you ever walk into a room and all conversation stopped? You look around and, sure, there are new faces but there are many old names as well. You try to strike a spark but nobody talks. You leave the room and all conversation resumes as normal?

You think, "Hmmm. Wonder what's going on?". Thinking back you realize this has been going on with this group for some time now for God knows why. You were enjoying the company of everyone so much you failed to notice it was only a few friends who were really talking to you all along. When those friends left, you just didn't make the cut.

Early on you realized you were over your head with this crowd but hoped that with honesty and insight into the lighter side of life you could maintain a dialog in spite of your lack of technical contributions.

This ever happen to you?

Great Dance. Thanks.

Chris

I gotta crash. But first:
***************
1: You truly are Mr. Honest and Mr. Concerned in our "small world" . Not a perfect world/dance... but ... a web world/dance looking for leadership & greatness.

2: My father's favourite line from the movies came at the close of the "Grand Hotel"....the dorman speaks; ".. People come , People go ..."

3: My favourite "oops " is "The Girl in the Shiny Dress", 1967 (Canada"s Centennial) by Diana Arbus https://photography-on-the.net …howthread.php?t=2037#9812

Keep the Faith

Chris,

Don't leave! :O

While I don't visit as frequently as I once did, your comments were always something that I was always looking forward to.

I'm still working on the "Fern in the garden" photo, and you can't leave until that project is finished... :D

Try changin your under arm spray...use odour eaters in your shoes...change your vest more than once a week.

THERE ARE TWO PEOPLE IN LIFE

A. My beer in half empty

B. My beer is half full

Think positive...who cares...tomorrow is a new day...you may win a 1Ds in a photo competition...!

Everything in life runs hot and cold, depending on so many different factors. I've learned to do what makes ME happy, and try not to worry much about what others think (although we all like positive feedback). You may want to keep checking back into that "room" now and then and see what a new day will bring, but also explore new horizons. (I think I'm getting philosophical in my old age!)

Ok, Ok! :)

I thought I was WAY past needing a pat on the fanny but that was, in fact, exactly what I needed.

Of no surprise at all; the ever faithful, the sensative, the pragmatic, and the totally irreverent have all helped me pull my head out. Thank You.! 8)

Chris,

Be honest.. it was the "Fern in the garden" comment that made you reconsider, right? :)
