I haven't posted much on this forum lately because I have been focusing on getting my site together and business in order. With that said I just launched my website, please check it out and give me some feedback.

I'm always willing to second shoot.

Thanks,
Brian Palmer

I'm no expert but from a 'man-in-the-street' or should I say 'woman-on-the-net' point of view I found it great...the shots were cool and loaded really quickly, I hate waiting for thumbnails to load and usually clik out of a website if they seem to be taking longer than a nano second! It was concise, to the point and you both seem really warm and friendly.
Did you pay a professional or was it a DIY web builder?? ( I'm only asking because I want to set something up for my pet photography business here in the UK and am having nightmares getting to grips with finding a decent host and user friendly web builder!!)
I hope it brings you plenty of business :)

Nice portfolio and classy site... I like your "tidbits about us" part... it adds a nice personal touch which I think is important with wedding photography.

Thank you for the feedback Rox,
I actually bought a template and customized myself. Took about a month to get things the way I like them, resize images load them, move them around, color schemes, and setting up hosting, email addresses, ect.

I got the template from http://www.flashpalette.com/ (external link) , super easy to customize and upload images, and the price is nice! If you decide to get one and need any help let me know.

Thanks Tommy,
originally, the whole About Us page gave us the most headaches, once we stopped thinking about it so hard the words started flowing.

IMHO - I would have picked a different URL - there are too many Brian Palmer's with websites and not many url's use hyphen.

At the very least I would have tried to pick a URL where your could control the:

.com
.net
.org

The blue links at the top left of the home page are a little small/dark, hard to read (or maybe i need glasses :P)
Other than that, it's a nice site :)

I actually agree. it sucks having such a common name. My site had been completed for some time I was just trying to get an angle on the URL. We are still looking at options for the URL, that's for the suggestion on controlling the .net and .org
