Everything has been said that I wanted to say, except I really like the Polaroid shots, gave me a few ideas.

Steve

Cool, would love to see what you come up with, as I got the idea from another photog. They actually used real Polaroids. For mine I took Photo paper and had them hold it up then took a head shot. Same for the kissing shot. I'm going to improve upon it the next time.

Nice shots and nice site.

The only issue I had...
-I went straight to engagements, I was able to view all of the pics by clicking on the arrows and small icons but the icons were only boxes no thumbnails.
-I then went to weddings 1 and 2 and the thumbs were there
-went back into engagements and the thumbs worked, maybe it just loaded the thumbs starting with the wedding section? Are they seperate pics just for thumbs (to load faster) or does it make the thumb out of the main picture.
-I'm not a pro web designer but just some thoughts.

Side question, what do you shot with and do you use a 580 on the engagements or natural light?

James

Thanks James,
The thumbnails are seperate files, I will have to look to see the order in which they load....I never tried going into the engagements first, way to catch the site off guard. I just loaded the site while taxing my network, it did take a while for the eng. thumbnails to load but wedding 1 didn't load either. Thanks for pointing this out I will keep looking into it.

side quest: About 90% of the images from the site were with a Rebel XT (Gasp!), it was my first digitial camera when I switched from Film...I swear I'm not that old!

Most of the engagement shots are with natural light and fast glass. There are about 5 (maybe less) shots using a 580ex bounced and one straight on (jumping high five).

Hope that answers your questions.
Thanks again.
Brian

i use a flashpallette template too...

i would add a separate entry for music and none... i love hearing music during a slide show. BUT that one potential client thats browsing at work and up pops music, shes gonna click off it and will continue to look at others at work that dont have it...

im impressed on the load times... even on my gf's laptop that has NO biz running xp on it, as its slow as heck....my site loads right up and dont lag.

i still need to actually purchase mine. oops.

Yeah i saw the trial banner on yours. My only grip at this point is that when a potential client sends an email via the contact page, any time they use an ' it get's prece4eded with a \ . For example, "you've got mail" ... shows up like "you\'ve got mail." I have a trouble ticket in for this as I didn't see it in the bug fixes.
