If it wasn't for POTN, I wouldn't know about that great burger restaurant in Copenhagen... :D

Thanks for the kind words Phil and others!

And if it wasn't for POTN I would have spent $7k on some other crap.

Thanks for the "Thanks!"

A great range of warm and helpfully firm personalities making this one of the friendliest and fun forums around.

I agree with you. Now, if I could only get some appreciative warm and helpful personality to <bump> my no-comment threads, this place would be perfect! :D

Thank You Phil.

If it wasn't for POTN I would not have been to Africa not only one time but two times. So this is a great place with great members and friends.

You're right. This thread shows some serious thought by the OP. At least it demonstrates some cognizance of his environment.

I'm sure the moderators at Nikon Cafe and Nikonians are much better, Mark. Pucker up.;)

Well, you'd be wrong. Firstly, there are hardly any moderators at those sites and so all hell can break loose.

Second, Nikon Cafe is dead in the water. Ever since one of our members sunk their for sale forum, it's died a slow withering death and I haven't visited it since.

As to Nikonians, I only lurk on their for sale forum. I think in four years of membership, if I have 34 posts it's a lot.

I was not making any comparison. Never would. There is none. POTN is hands down the best forum on the internet of any kind. Moderators included. Damn, did I just say that? What's come over me?

Thank you Phil. As long as my efforts contribute to others having a good time here then I'm happy.

Suck up! :p

Nah, seriously, I agree... my dealings here have been great and there is definitely a pride that goes into making this place what it is.

I made a comment in another thread about how good the mods are and I discovered a new title the next day. Thanks, TF.

I have learned more on POTN, both from the positive and the "what in the hell were you thinking" feedback than I could by sitting in a classroom. I have had the privilege of meeting some great people and sharing our hobby. I have also been able to get into "business" that my entire family enjoys.

Someone said "tidy" in reference to the threadkeeping. That is one aspect that I have been astonished with from day one. I mean look at the # of daily posts. P.O.T.N. would be an awesome city to visit. The firehouse would be quite large though, in a good way.

I'm glad I did'nt get a title like yours, you got it.;) Actually no title yet.

I must be saying intelligent things, I think most people would like to have me over for coffee. Now after a few cups....then... I'd be asked to leave.

Why do you think I'm addicted?

At least it demonstrates some cognizance of his environment.

Dictionary.com- Cognizance: awareness, realization, or knowledge; notice

Do you already know this stuff? Or do you have a screen saver that tells you a new word every day that you have to use or else you blow up?
