Torbay Express rail tour

6 of us had a trip out on the Torbay Express last Sunday hauled by the A1 peppercorn class locomotive "Tornado".
Weather wasn't great :( but the day was brilliant :D

Wow. Lovely shots. Especially like the atmosphere in the last one - shame about the high intensity lamp though!

Just pretend it's the post war loco exchanges they tried. Last shot is very atmospheric, apart from the light!

Daytonadays, she is brand new. first steam loco since the 1960's to be built from the original blueprints and is a crowd puller for sure
