An hour before and we were getting drenched, on the Italian Riviera, thats not what I expected!

I've heard these called sun dogs. Is that right?

But driving home down the M3 after leaving Fleet services there was an amazing light show. Torrential rain, but with a clear horizon to the west as the sun set. It lit the storm clouds with an amazing pink/red edge the like of which I've never seen before. Sadly I was unable to stop to capture it being on the motorway and it really warranted a decent forground, not just traffic blurring past in the rain.
