I went to the Saint Louis Zoo this weekend. It is an absolutely amazing zoo, and free too! It is a shame I don't visit much considering I live only 15min away. Here are a few shots taken. Definitely not the sharpest or the best, but just wanted to share. They were mostly taken with my 55-250mm IS. If you have never been here and are in Saint Louis, it is definitely not a place to pass up. Still one of my favorite places in the city, plus its in Forest Park!

These guys are my favorite! So hard to keep up with them, plus you stand on a few feet from their pin. They were both fighting for a few minutes, pretty darn funny

Looks like it was pretty dark and you needed a heavy crop on the last one there... looks a bit odd, get that circa 1996 digital image feel coming from it, kind of like it only has 256 colors.

Three years in STL and still haven't been to the zoo, I guess that should be on my to-do list.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

Oh yes, the last one I was shooting into the back shady part of their pin. I was just trying to keep them in the viewfinder, and managed to get a couple okay shots of them playing. Unfortuntely they were all taken jpeg since the photographer (me) didnt check his settings. Its okay though, it was just a day with the family. I need to go back when I get my new gear in a couple days.
