So I've been wanting the Canon 10-22mm for a while for my UWA needs but have held off to get the 17-55 first. Anyway for the past week, I've never missed seeing "10:22am" or "10:22pm" on my cell phone. It's not like I sit there and wait for it to turn to that exact time, it'd happen when I randomly pull my phone out of my pocket and check the time...

I think it's calling me...lol!

Have you guys had any similar experiences?

After I get the 17-55mm (which is sometime next week), definitely!

When I decided to buy my Tamron, the clock always said "28:75." I threw away the clock.

No, just kidding. Nothing but debate and endless thinking, here ;)

 Did you debate between your 28-75 and the 24-70L?

Nothing against it, but it just wasn't working for me, so that happened.

With camera gear? No. With cars? Oh yea...

Before I bought my previous two cars, I would see many of the same models I was looking at driving down the road. I ended up with the ones I noticed most each time. lol

you're looking at your cell phone exactly 54minutes too early. Do the math.

With cars, forget about it. I'm so indecisive when it comes to cars...good thing I told myself I won't get a new one till 2012. Maybe the new Toyota-Subaru car will be out by then.

Yes, the best lens in the range. Knocks the piss out of the EF-S 10-22.

Except at 10mm and between 17mm and 22mm. ;)

No doubt this is an awesome lens, but I could never personally get behind it due to the limited range. If my 10-22mm isn't stuck at 10mm while I'm using it, I'm bouncing through the entire range.

I like that it is f/2.8 but hmm I'm not sure if I'll wanna be limited to that narrow range...decision decisions.

I only wish that every morning when the clock says "600", it was talking about a lens and not the need to get up and go to work!!!! ;)
