Canon SD880 IS VS Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1S VS Canon SD780 IS

I'm having a dilemma over those three cameras. I know the SD780 IS is not in the same class as the other two but I throw it in the mix because of the video capability. Please help me choose between the three. Thanks.

SD780IS, hands down. What do you mean not in the same class? They all use the same tiny sensor, anyway. The pictures out of any point and shoot still come out MEH at best.

Yup, if you want DSLR quality out of a P&S you're going to be disappointed. I like my 780IS and the photos & HD videos it takes, it's tiny size, and the price, but obviously the photos aren't DSLR quality.

The SD780 is probably the best bang for the buck with the HD video. Like stated above, IQ between them will be similar because of the tiny sensors.

I love my SD780. Obviously it's not a camera for pro photography, but it's a nice tiny thing to carry in your pocket 24/7 so that you'll always have something to shoot with.
