Out shooting birds today and this Abert's squirrel posed for a moment. Cloudy day, high ISO. They sure are cute little buggers!:D

He sees me and is about ready to bolt for the trees...:D There were quite a few of these around yesterday, most were young squirrels and haven't seen many people. I'm 15 miles out in the woods at a pond.

He is cute. I guess Abert's squirrels aren't the ones with fuzzy ears? Are they kaibab squirrels? I need an expert here.

Hey Stan, Abert's squirrels have tuffs on the ears when they get older. This young squirrel doesn't have it yet. The Kaibab is the same with the ear hair!
