I was out for a drive today when I saw this fella on the road. I decided to stop and take some pictures while he was still around. I don't know much about snakes though and was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of snake it is.

This is one of the only full body shots sadly, I was kind of rushed and there was a bit of traffic, so I had to do everything quickly and hope he didn't get run over inbetween shots, haha.

Here are some more random shots

Might help to know what country you are in. I'd take a guess and say it's non venomous, some kind of constrictor, but I'm no snake expert. I wouldn't let it bite me to prove I was right.

Haha, I wasn't hoping for the bite either. I'm in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was just out on a random backroad. There are some lakes nearby, but I was at least a half mile away from one where I found him.

He looks quite long, and also like he needs a feed.
