I have been, slowly, reading Understanding Exposure and re reading the manual again and thought I would take Bessy the 100-400mm out for a trial spin today.

Well I think I got quite lucky and managed to get these two lovely photographs.

The second one I presume is a deer but my knowledge does not extend to what type of deer. Maybe somebody else can help with that.

Yes you are correct, having looked on their website http://www.surreyheath.gov.uk …Lightwatercountrypark.htm (external link) it does say there are Roe Deer.

I learn something new every day.

man i cant recommend this book enough

Bryan petersons book understanding aperture will be one of the best books you can buy, it has helped me out tons to understand how things relate and he talks in laymans terms and offers lots of pictures to help you understand how what he has said relates to actual end results

so if you are like me and are more of a visual learner then you can go wrong
