It tried out the IS version and loved it! It arrives Tuesday from B&H! Shooting a concert September 9th at Mohegan Sun. I can't wait! I'm selling the 2.8 NON IS version and also keeping the 70-200 f4 (my first L) as a travel lens. Canon 7D gripped, Canon 30D gripped, Canon 300D gripped, Canon SX120IS, Tokina 12-24, Canon 24-70 f2.8L, Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS, Canon 580EXII, 3X 430EX. Cybersyncs, And the learning process continues...

You'll enjoy this len a lot! It's an amazing len and does wonder for me. Not to mention it's my go to len for portrait.
