Still problem with 24-70 L

Well I have received the lens back for the 2nd time from Canon repair. This time I received the same repair solution; "internal element bent, replaced electronics" BS answer if you ask me. Anyways. What options do I have left. I think I'm done with this lens. Just move on to all primes or back to the Tamron. I don't even want to sell this to anyone in fears of them having the same problem. It's well beyond the terms of repair to BH.

ALL my other lenses in past and present DID NOT have this issue.

Here are the pics. At 70m flawless. At 28 and subject is withing 4-8 ft, CRAP.

This shot is at 2.8 @1/160th ISO 100.

I think that I would send it back to Canon for a third
time but I would inclose a few of your test shots. If
that does not work I don't know what I would do.

Honestly the shot you posted doesn't look *that* bad. You are right on the edge of your lense's limits at 24mm & f/2.8 so you're not going to get optimum performance. Is the softness really affecting real-world shots?
