Lol...I managed 2 yesterday. I am toying with the idea of skipping today's nap though. I'm too lazy. .

How the heck does one become too lazy for a nap.

this guy is probably my favorite subject at the pow wow's. I always process his photos into some sort of monochrome though because even though he's very native, he's got blue eyes and the incongruity in the color version always distracts me.

And yea, we worked really hard and had a few friends come over, but we got the place cleaned up real nice. Will post a pic or two if ya all are interested. We plan on moving out there as soon as I get layed off.

Lisa actually is able to maintain a very nice yard, though a couple spots out of the way are designated Jasper zones, where he is allowed to dig, or whatever. The flower beds and gardens are strictly out of bounds though. If Jasper, or any of his friends, try to breach these boundaries, then they face the wrath of the resident Meany Head.

I would think the issue is with the drive, not Vista. Though, I am pretty much a computer dummy.

Colors look good to me, Paula. I would use the masking brush in LR to bring the exposure up a bit on hubby in the the first. If you need help, PM me.

I'm having a wonderful time. I hadn't shot anything since the ranch get together. Having new subjects and a new monitor really helps get the juices flowing again.

I missed his quote. One of my shots (the first conversion) was a nik filter (from silver efex) and the 2nd conversion was an onone photo tools filter.

THats what I had though as well and was ready to return it but three XP machines work perfectly. It's only the Vista machine that gave me trouble. And it looks as if the problem is worse than I previously suspected. When I open the raw file in ARC, it's corrupted even though it displays the preview ok.
