My brother and sister in law came home early as there is a house for sale right where they want to buy that is 'priced right' so they came home to see it!

evening kids, seems we now need a new TV stand for the new TV which won't be delivered till Wednesday...

OOOooo... new TV. Hi def? Led? Size of a drive-in theater screen?

I am so in need of a new TV. I still have a 32" tube set that weighs a ton and a half and it's pixels are larger than bathroom tile. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I have another question about my new monitor. I can either hook it up as DSUB or HDMI. Which is better? I have no clue what it all even means.

Anyone know the answer to this? I'm confuzzzzed.

Our 18+ year old tube set is dying a slow and agonizing death. Most days it is just a thin white line adn sound.

Our 42" HD LCD TV will be delivered on wednesday.

Does your computer have HDMI output? That will give you (at least theoretically) a cleaner signal. But it's more typically a video (TV/DVD player) type signal than a computer signal. D-Sub is the connector most computers have. It'll be fine.

I dunno. The guy at best buy said something about the picture looking better with HDMI, so I bought a connector. The D-Sub connector came with the monitor. I was just wondering if HDMI really is better or if I should return that connector.
