Becky how are you enjoying your new lens? Any aidan shots with it to share :)

It worked well in Chicago, the panos were done with it. Curt used it yesterday with Aiden, not sure if they are loaded up, yet, let me go look...

...doesn't look like it. I'll be using it at the fair this week.

Curt tested it Friday evening, a bit of front focusing on the 20D and 30D he is able to micro adjust it on the Mark III. I'll be excited to see how it does for the next theatre shoot.

Reno isn't bad, in fact the surrounding area is quite nice. How about some pic's.

You're right about Reno, but I took very few pictures (surprise). I might post something later..

Better start working out that right arm. Or left if you are goofy footed.

I haven't shot in over three years and would not feel comfortable shooting at game even if I can still draw my bow. I am fanatical about being very sure I have a good shot and that I am confident enough with my gear to make a fast clean kill. Leyla and I both have nice Mathew's compound bows.

Are you going to move around with him as he changes locations?

I wish I had time to go over to the coast. From Seaside to Depoe Bay they are having GW shark sitings. We haven't had a beach cleared in years and one in Seaside was yesterday. The warmer waters are bringing the prey animals closer to the beaches and the sharks are following. And I cannot head west. *kicks hole in wall*

My brother Nick had a shark help himself to an albacore that he was pulling in about 20 miles off PC last week.

Our 18+ year old tube set is dying a slow and agonizing death. Most days it is just a thin white line adn sound.

Our 42" HD LCD TV will be delivered on wednesday.

Very nice, you will like watching the Ducks beat up on the Beavers in football on that big screen!:D

see, I prefer my sharks alive

There are reasons.

For one, people only eat the fins (very rarely any other part) and throw the sharks back into the water to drown....OR they don't eat anything and have them weighed and measured as trophies...and I'm not a fan of sport hunting/fishing any species unless the animal will be eaten.

It's actually one of the things I feel most strongly on. Just sayin'

For two, sharks are a necc. part of the eco system and hunting them for the thrill is globally unwise.
