CAT!!

Did you see the pictures of the old cameras I posted today? I'm actually thinking about loading the Contax up with some film and going out shooting with it...

That was one of the quotes I had that I lost! YES I saw them! Great shots. :D

I've had a few cab rides in my life, including a nearly identical engine, but I never was allowed to touch the throtte. I guess my reputation preceded me.

I got to touch the throttle, the brake, the bell and the whistle!

And I'm still giddy. :D

Something to share.

I have itunes playing in the background on random. Everyone remember the movie Last Of The Mohicans. The song from the very end of the movie when they were chasing after them to save the girl just came on. What a great movie but it makes me a little sad.

Ah yes...fine little movie about NY....filmed in North Carolina. Almost as funny as Cold Mountain being filmed in Romania because the location looked more authentic than the real locale.:lol::lol:

Forgot about this...put the 5D in the green zone and handed it down (I was glad to see that the green zone automatically puts focusing onto the shutter button rather than the *):

QUOTED IMAGE

So Cool! Quoted so everyone sees again.

Tom, in my dark and distant memory that rear seat was called a rumble or dicky seat.

With the new security that is in place since the Mumbai attack earlier in the year all vehicles are checked before they can enter hotels or IT campuses. I was surprised to find that the boot (trunk to you) is universally referred to as "the dicky" over here.

I was quite surprised the first time an armed guard asked me to open my dicky :-)

Lol!!

I have just read the UK papers on line.... and I wish I had not.

It is not often that I am truly shocked by what people are capable off but in this case, I just don't know what to think.

Some of you may know that Teresa and I have had real problems having a family, our hopes came to an end after her second ectopic pregnancy.

And then I read THIS (external link)

It is a very difficult read, so take care.

That is terrible Neil:( Very disturbing story.

That reminds me, Leyla asked if yoiu knew what your different whistle blows mean. I ahave no idea what she was talking about

I just did a search, and I don't know why this post was among the results, but it sure made me laugh!

The funniest thing is, I still remember what led up to that comment!

Dood. :| I'm a professional engineer. I've been driving trains for over ten years [okay... ten minutes - but it seemed liked forever!] I can't believe you would besmirch my reputation by asking such a question. I'm shocked and outraged.

And I have absolutely no idea - but I know there is a meaning in there somewhere. :D

Fine. There is a POTN get-together at Dwigh McCann's house on the 22nd, but your visit is much more important. I had only tentatively committed to going, and I can easily cancel.

I couldn't finish reading it. I am just amazed that people can be so cruel. I have no more to say as I'm sure you all feel the same way.

There is nothing....

Let me restate that...

There is NOTHING they could do to those fools that could be considered appropriate punishment for what they did to that beautiful baby. Certainly we could start by breaking their ribs and snapping their spine.
