Fine. There is a POTN get-together at Dwigh McCann's house on the 22nd, but your visit is much more important. I had only tentatively committed to going, and I can easily cancel.

Gee...the gathering at Dwight's is pretty big doings....I get to Phoenix in the early morning hours on the 19th....I have to make a couple of airport runs later in the day....it looks like the 20th and 21st are tied up with the movers during the day...and the rehab people are supposed to be coming the 24th and 25th...at least that is my understanding...I should know a bit more tomorrow.

Here you go....the short answer to the whistle dilemma. http://www.trains.com/trn/default.aspx?c=a&id=231 (external link)

So I am guessing this guy was just blowing to see if I would fall off my horse who was not psyched about the train, let alone the whistle.

Odds are....unless he felt you were in danger of being too close. Doesn't seem all that realistic though.

He loved them!!! I was pleasantly suprised too. Though they aren't wonderful, they turned out better than I expected.:)

LG makes nice stuff...I suspect it will do a fine job for you. You can also do a soft calibration if you want....download Monitor Calibration Wizard (external link)...and run it...You will be amazed at how close it will get things. The instructions are very easy to follow.

They were really good shots! That's why I asked. If I was being kayak dude I would love to have some nice crisp action shots like you got.
