Trivia time.
Rick Wakeman who went on to co-found the band Yes, played the piano on Cat Stevens version of the Hymn, Morning Has Broken. I know, some of you young 'uns are scratching your head.

Do you feel smarter now. :D

I knew some of that, but not the Cat Stevens part. Good stuff.

That is because you are of the age of appreciation. ;)

Rick Wakeman used to be a real popular studio musician and played keyboards with lots of big names. I know he played with Bowie on a few recordings too.

G'mumblemornmummblzing,

I woke up this morning to do the regular pattern:
Get Hale out of her crate, take her out to do her business, put her in her inside crate (all the while Kona howling because he has to wait), get Kona out, let him out to use the bathroom, feed the cats while he's out & then it's supposed to go: let Hale out, let her nibble on some food, drink some water & put her back in her crate....INSTEAD it was let Hale out and try to catch her as she ran rampant all over the house shaking and mauling anything in her path THEN let her nibble on some food, drink some water, put her back in her crate...CRAWL to the coffee pot & beg for some elixir of the gods, let Kona back in, chase him out of the cat box and let him back out...slump in front of the computer with fresh coffee.

I'm really hating mornings right now.

Dood. I gave you the details!

Spiders. Lots. Freaky leg waving. Conga line.

Really, by the time we were done with the house, saw a spider and my overly freaked out brain was so numb from the darn things, I was like 'huh. a spider.' and went about my business

ROFL!! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

HOLY CARP that's awesome! LOVE it! Share how you set it up/executed?? I've never even come close to incredible results like that!

Thanks Di! It's just a pano taken 4 different times and then blended together I have pictures of it from morning to sunset but with the tide change it just looks odd...

Oh yeah, what a beautiful time-lapsing pano, Tif!

So how does the "blending" work?

I may try this trick out....if I could understand it.

A completely different genre, but Glen Campbell did the same thing before anyone had ever heard of him. One of his earliest albums (his third, according to Wikipedia) was an obscure thing called 'The Astounding 12-String of Glenn Campbell." He sang (poorly) on only a couple of the tracks. I'd love to find another copy. I had it on vinyl.

Back to Wakeman...I loved his album, The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

And yes, that is some great keyboard work.

Leyla cam home with ticks, again:-| Actually we have both done this. Occasionally you get into ticks in the nymph or larva stage, by the thousands:shock: She only had twenty or so but i have had 400 give or take a thousand. They are literally half the size of the period on your keyboard. They are easy to find on her but I am woolly. i was like screw this and just got in a mixture of dog tick dip. The kind that says don't use on people. It worked.
I have one caged an have the 100 macro on. Back at some point with tiny tick pics.

That post has a serious case of TMI.

Had that. Will no longer have it again. I have family down south and hunting big rodents and stewing them up is something they do. Rabbit, raccoon, opossum, squirrel, had it all an none come close to chicken or beef.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I had to be to the St George Shuttle at 8:30 this morning, dressed, pressed and ready to receive the 15 PASSENGER VAN THAT THEY DONATED TO HART! (How awesome is THAT?!).
I was taking the photo that is going in the newspaper. (Now I'm a journalist too, woo hoo!, LOL!).

I took Layla and Cosmo with me because they both had vet appts at 9. So they are in the photo.
