I had to be to the St George Shuttle at 8:30 this morning, dressed, pressed and ready to receive the 15 PASSENGER VAN THAT THEY DONATED TO HART! (How awesome is THAT?!).
I was taking the photo that is going in the newspaper. (Now I'm a journalist too, woo hoo!, LOL!).

I took Layla and Cosmo with me because they both had vet appts at 9. So they are in the photo.

Very cool. but isn't that pressed and dressed? It might hurt a bit if you pressed after getting dressed unless your two dimensional. ;)

Oh yeah, what a beautiful time-lapsing pano, Tif!

So how does the "blending" work?

I may try this trick out....if I could understand it.

ummmm well I can never do anything the easy way... this took me like 6 hours :lol::lol: I had to align the pano manually, then I divided it up evenly and erased the overlaping parts with a low opacity brush and I made selections with the gradient tool and used the match color thingy to bleed colors from one picture to another.........

yeah, I'm not very good at explaining, that's probably why it took my so long to make it :lol:

Oh you hush. Marian forgot to wake me up, so I had 25 minutes to get ready and drive 15 minutes to the Shuttle. I pressed on the way there.

I am sickened and sit here with heavy heart seeing the news they released Abdelbeset Ali mohmed al Megrahi from a Scottish prison today. This is one of the terrorists that murdered my best friend, before his 20th birthday, and only a couple days before Christmas, by blowing up Pan Am 103. He was released on compassionate grounds because he has terminal cancer. A brutal beating and a bullet to the back of the head is the only compassion he should have got.

Some things just aren't fair. I have trouble seeing how he should be given any kind of compassion seeing what he did.

I'm with you guys, he should have stayed in prison till he dies even though many believe he had nothing to do with the event and was served up as the fall guy. Doesn't matter. He's the face and he should rot.

Leyla cam home with ticks, again:-| Actually we have both done this. Occasionally you get into ticks in the nymph or larva stage, by the thousands:shock: She only had twenty or so but i have had 400 give or take a thousand. They are literally half the size of the period on your keyboard. They are easy to find on her but I am woolly. i was like screw this and just got in a mixture of dog tick dip. The kind that says don't use on people. It worked.
I have one caged an have the 100 macro on. Back at some point with tiny tick pics.

GAH!!!! That would freak me the heck out!

Ok,it is in line with the estimate, but wow I could almost have had the 5D II for the cost of my oral surgery, I'd of been in pain, but; I could take video.

Spoken like a true photographer.

you would not believe how many people wanted that 135. I got 4x the pm's for it (and posts on the thread) than any other thing. I wonder what's up with that.

I actually heard a rumor somewhere that the 135 is being discontinued.

short5 wrote in post #8491235 (external link)
You notice them in mass at your ankles. The worst time I got them and did a tick dip to kill them, I felt a tingling and realized I had thousands on me. I have been trying to id it but in nymph stage its hard. It really looks like a deer tick though.

GAH!!! Stuff of nightmares here!

That is freaking rdidiculous. So he has terminal cancer....put him to use as a test subject for some cancer drugs and make his existence have some point.

So sorry Zane.
