3 hours sleep, took me that long to fall asleep last night, and this old body is not conducive to a productive work day, so I better get some needed rest tonight. I shall see you tomorrow.

CAT if you come in tonight, I was wondering how your niece is recovering from her appendix surgery.

oh and speaking of cool movies...(Terri ignore this)
Did any of you see "the Tin Man"? It was a made for tv movie but it was incredibly cool. And a big hit, even on dvd. (wizard of oz remake) Anyway, they (the makers of this one) are making a new made for tv movie called "Alice" (remake of Alice in Wonderland). It comes out in Dec. I can't wait to see it...looks waaay cool.

Gah.

Morning Crissa.

Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the world

Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where his feet pass

Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day.

.

Thank you, thank you very much. *smacks Chet for getting it stuck in my head now too* although, it is better than the Strawberry Shortcake song that was stuck a while ago.

Yeep! Am I caught up already? Maybe it's because I'm up early to work this morning...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! The novelty of being 21 will wear off rapidly. It did for me...

You uh....REMEMBER being 21?!? ;)

Thanks Di! It's just a pano taken 4 different times and then blended together I have pictures of it from morning to sunset but with the tide change it just looks odd...

Right. How about you come out here and SHOW me? ;) I swear you just spoke Taiwanese.

Harm wrote in post #8493124 (external link)
Oh yeah, what a beautiful time-lapsing pano, Tif!

So how does the "blending" work?

I may try this trick out....if I could understand it.

Ditto. Or blitz. Or something, lol

PICS or it didn't happen!

kumatron wrote in post #8493412 (external link)
ummmm well I can never do anything the easy way... this took me like 6 hours I had to align the pano manually, then I divided it up evenly and erased the overlaping parts with a low opacity brush and I made selections with the gradient tool and used the match color thingy to bleed colors from one picture to another.........

yeah, I'm not very good at explaining, that's probably why it took my so long to make it

Taiwanese, I tell you!

QUOTED IMAGE

Not a lot overexposed Crissa....and I just have to tell you that I love you. Love the beauty and joy you see in people, love how you make that beauty show through an image....love the patience you have for all of it. I'm proud to know you.

I find the 5D photos to be richer in color and texture than the 40D and the bokeh to look nicer in general.

Yes, at least compared to the Rebel/5D combo. I couldn't be more in love w/a cam, I don't think....than I am with the 5D.

Lisa you are not an aspiring wedding photographer, or a rookie, you ARE a professional wedding photographer. You are darn good at what you do. Your self motivation and desire to do what is right for the client, not so you look good, but because it is so important and you care, is what sets you above the average shooter.

Indeed....and I'd be honored to shoot with her, too....if the opportunity ever presented itself (doubtful, lol).

Um...... where's the puking smiley? Oh wait....what time is your tee time? I'll be there with the video cam. ;)

Evening all....Blondie's birthday today, and GEEZ it was a busy one. Her "low-key" celebration of just family turned into well over 20 people in my house for cake and ice cream.
