This is my favorite. Great shots Neil, I can see why that one is your favorite. The PP really makes the shot. thomascanty wrote in post #8549541 I think the entire San Gabriel Mountain range behind me is on fire. I haven't seen a wildfire this big since 2003 when the San Bernardinos were burning. That is close to you, what are you going to do if the highways are cut off by the fires? neil_r wrote in post #8549712 Bad stuff to come back too. My brother was not feeling too good for a few days, went to his doctor who said his red blood count was down, he spent 5 night in hospital and the tests revealed nothing, he was discharged with an appointment for a barium enema at the end of the following week, he had a really uncomfortable weekend and went back to the hospital on the monday, they admitted him and eventually gave him a CAT scan at 19:00 hrs, at 22:00 hrs he was in theatre having an extended right hemicolectomy to remove a tumor and a significant portion of his colon. Not sure of the prognosis or the Chemo regime we will find out more this week. Another of my brothers died of Pancreatic / Liver cancer when he was 49 I was really lucky as I had a bowel tumor removed when I was 42 whilst it was still at a villous adenoma non malignant stage. Lets hope that my brothers prognosis is as good as mine was. I guess if anyone has a family history you really can not be complacent and hold off going for checkups. Wow, hope your brother pulls through Neil. JWright wrote in post #8549809 In about an hour, virtually every TV in San Diego County is going to be tuned to the Little League World Series. We took her in today to get some fluids because she won't eat or drink. I imagine her throat hurts so much. They gave us pain meds in the hopes that it will give her relief so she drinks. I will follow up with my regular vet this week, she has been being seen by the emergency clinic. Zane, I'm sorry she's having such a hard time. I hope she perks up soon! .. Another thing that helps is not moving to fast in the game, usually left/right turns. Robert | Gear |
