I noticed there are some members who LOVE to take self-portraits...using creative lighting, enchancement, (if only they looked that good in person ), and they love to be the subject behind the camera. Others love weddings, babies, or nature. I'm just curious as to what members enjoy photographing most. What makes you reach for your camera...care to share??

My kids, hands-down. I do some portrait-style, but most of the time candids (which I love more.) For more "artistic" stuff, I love to shoot flowers and scenery all over my beautiful state, NH. (I love seasonal photos.)

I really don't have anything that don't like to shoot. I'm at my happiest when I have a camera in my hands. (Don't tell my wife this.)

This space for rent.

I love shooting portraits/weddings my only problem is overcoming my shyness and figuring out how to GET people for picture taking. To me a good portrait shot is so much more rewarding then a landscape shot. I like bird shots but not enough to want to invest $$ in big lenses.

I also love taking pictures of my cats, they have no problem with me doing so.

If I needed a general category, it would be "Landscapes", but I include a very wide (lose??) definition. A conglomoration of old buildings, an abandoned railroad track, lazy (retired??) farm equipment overgrown with grass, castles, barns, even indoor shots of country-themes will fit my definition.

PS-Ontario is very photogenic, but I don't get there too often . . . I am from Buffalo originally, so I consider Ontarioans my neighbors . . .;)

I like shooting a lot of bands/groups. I like the feel and emotion that I can bring out from a well composed group photo.

Interactions between people at bars/ restaurants, parties etc. Not surprising, you can get some great interactions once the libations start flowing because people to unwind and aren't as self conscious. Especially fun is getting the shot of a couple enjoying their time together, or people flirting with one another.
