I don't see too many of these on the forum, so thought I'd give you one.

Not a superb shot as it was taken through double glazed windows. These birds are very timid and there's no way I'd be able to get this shot outside without a great deal of patience.

Cool shot. Never seen one in a garden before. In fact, I've rarely seen one out and about.

We're close to woodland/countryside. The Jays are semi-regular visitors to the garden. This is the first time I've seen one on a feeder though.

I think these ones are adults in my garden, they have the mannerisms of knowing their way around.

Please watch your thread-jacking though. I don't mind so much, but others might...

Sorry Pete ... I'm not sure what thread jacking is but I'm happy to remove my post.

No problem. Being a photo forum, it's usually good form to comment on other peoples photos, but not to add your own photos to someone else's thread without being asked.

Very nice looking birds. Do they have the same attitude as our Blue Jays? Do you know our Jays? :)

They're pretty cocky when they don't think that someone's watching them, yes.

Nice bird, I've only ever seen them twice in my life, once at the inlaws in sussex and then at Ham House near Richmond.

Sure is different than ours in N.A. We have a local jay that will land in your hands for peanuts.
