Although I reside over at the Nightclub Photos thread, I do enjoy taking other types of photography and this is one of them. This was part of a shoot that included swimsuit, fetish/street type wear and finally, what I like to call "Cemetery Glamor."

There will be some nighttime shoots in these cemeteries once the weather turns cooler in the Fall.

Enjoy!

I did a shot like this of myself with my film camera years ago and I always wanted to do a female version of the same shot. That is my Mother's Bible by the way and yes, she was a Jehovah's Witness. The headphones represent life, sound and energy against the backdrop of death, sadness and loss.

These are Concerto TE-1015 headphones from Japan. I am guessing they are from the 80's. I had another pair for my model to choose from but she liked these better and I agree. I got them from some guy in Canada off Ebay for like $10. Can't find much info on these cans. They look and sound great too.

PS: I will not be using the headphones ALL of the time by the way.

Cemetery shoots in the day time, or in bright light have a very hard time getting the correct balance. It rather strips the mood from the location.

I agree. That is why we are going back when it gets cooler in Fall and doing late evening/nighttime shots;) We (the model and I) feel that we did get some great shots though:D
