It's just you cuz I "rarely" see them not for sale...............

it's kind of rare to find the USM version of it in US. good example of rare >< good

My favorite is when the listing has the word Rare in the title and there are 3 others for sale on the same search page.

'rare', as in not cooked to 'well done'

The USM versions are not sold in the US, so yeah. But it's not what I would call "rare."

Hey it is rare to find anyone who thinks it is rare.

Id say its pretty rare as they didnt produce this lens long before making the MKIII with no USM which shipped with the 350/400/20/30D as a bog standard kit lens, then they made the IS that they have now

i didn't know there was a kit with USM...

If he actually gets that much for his rare lens, I think I'll just have to put my Power Zoom up for sale and see how much it brings in

I asked him about it and he told me to search for the lens with USM on eBay. Thats how he justifies "rare"
