BH does not have the 5d2 in stock. Any other good stores at NYC?

Thanks

Yes. They are good. The last time I ordered online from 17th Street, I did not pay extra for shipping and received the item in about 2 days (I live in NJ). By contrast -- even though I love amazon -- I have found that if I don't pay extra for shipping, it always takes more than a week.

I have never set foot in the store.

really? the kit I want says:

"This Item is out of stock due to a back order situation.
Please note: You can order this now and as soon as it arrives we will ship it to you.
We do not charge your card for any backordered items.
We only charge your card when we actually ship."

It'll be tough because if one retailer is out of stock, you can bet that most of the others are out of stock as well. Generally the three stores I trust and buy from in NYC are B&H, J&R, and Adorama (in no particular order).

I bought mine at Adorama, no problems. You can order it today, it'll come Friday.

I'm waiting to get the kit with the 24-105 because it saves a considerable amount than buying them separately.
