I have the following lenses

Canon 28-135mm
Canon 17-85mm
Canon 50mm 1.4
Tamron 17-270mm
and recently added the 24-70 L (actually just arrived today and I haven't been home to use it)

Which should I get rid of? I hardly ever touch the 28-135mm (kit lens), I used to use the 17-85mm a lot, and I have used the 18-270 about 15 times since I purchased it in April. I mainly got it for it's zoom but it has been very few times that I have used it for that.

Well it sounds like you already know what to sell. Whichever you don't really use. Sell it and spend that money on something you will use :) Do you think you will miss the lower focal length that the 24-70 doesn't give you? If you can answer that question you know what to do.

Just don't sell the 17-85 until after you buy the wide angle you want :)

Yep, get rid of the least used lens, AKA the 28-135mm. You're going to be blown away by the 24-70mm if yours is as sharp as mine. :)

I'd sell the 28-135 & the 17-85. That's where you have the most overlap. If you sell the Tamron you lose your one lens with reach.

+1, That's a good thought. That's what I'd do.
