Hi all

Here is part II from my pet project this year. To spend time out in the wild and photograph proud birds like the Merlin is a privilege I don't take for granted. Hope that our children can enjoy nature in all its glory in the same way as we do now.

What a cute little fuzzball in #1. These are all fantastic shots Sindri, in your usual fantastic quality.

Beautiful shots and detail of a magnificent bird.

I spent 13 consecutive days photographing these birds and I am curious how you got the first shot... The 3 chicks I spent time with, fledged out of a nest in a 100 ft. spruce... since they usually nest in abandoned crow or hawk nests I was wondering if your nest was close to or on the ground?

These are taken high up in a mountain. The slope was pretty steep close to the nest but from there it was easy to get a clear view to a ledge outside the nest. I used Canon 500mm + 1.4x TC to get this shot. I spent countless hours on this project over a seven week period and I enjoyed every minute of it. :D

Best regards
