While in Scotland, I met up with local model, Kat. We did a quick shoot at an old abbey ruin. It was a great opportunity to try out some new poses and compositions given the setting and her outfit. I also tried sometime different from what I normally do with the PP.

These are a few of my favourites from the day, so I'd love to hear what you guys think. C & C definitely welcome.

I love #3, there is something about her expression.

I can't put my finger on it but there's something about number two that I like, it's probably because it looks like she's paying her respects I don't know. The others are fine. She has a rather interesting smirk/expression in number three that makes you wonder what she's thinking.

Some really cool stuff. The wind really was helpful on some as well, gotta love when all the pieces come together like that.

The wind, her looks, the clothes, location and PP came extremely well together to produce an amazing shoot.
Good work.

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, the wind was perfect! Fortunately in Scotland, it's windy nearly every day :) But yeah, everything just kind of fell together that day. In #8, she was already up on the wall when the sun just blasted out from behind the clouds. It was like the gates of heaven just opened up. magical

And I'm glad to hear the PP looks good. I was a straying a little from what I normally do.

Great series. #8 hasn't been mentioned yet, so I will----powerful shot! Love your composition and the DOF you used. Excellent posing by the model, too.
Also, #7 is excellent. Her whipping hair and darker, sepia-type treatment both match the intended scene. Good job.
