Took these yesterday while at the monterey bay aquarium. Unfortunately aquariums are notoriously dark and the fastest lens I own is my 60mm f2.8 macro so I usually shot wide open at iso 1600 to get decent shutter speeds. Here are a couple of an aquatic snake that I can't can't remember the name of.

cool pics, i love the colors. first one is a bit overexposed I think, but number 2 is spot on. I know how tough it is to take pictures in these darkly lit rooms.

The worst I ever had to deal with was the butterfly exhibit at the museum of natural history. Walked in and all my glass fogged up. got nothing in there.

I think you're right on #1. I think I'll give a little more PP a go, to try and get the head properly exposed
