Well I am fairly new to the world of photography, and decided I would try to take some photos at the XGames this year. I know that the wheels on the rally car would have been better if they showed motion (were blurry) but I could not shoot slow enough and keep the car sharp (need practice )

Please let me know what you would change etc. I shot these with a 20D using a Canon Zoom Lens EF75-300mm f/4-5.6.

I really like the rally ones, but the first 2 MX ones seem soft?... Nice otherwise...

where were you standing for rally? i was on turn 9 using the exact same camera and lens HA

Those MX guys are insane!! Very cool pics but definitely a little soft. Next time try spot metering instead of pattern.
