This is my first "in-the-wild" rattler. Man, was he/she angry for a while. After shooting for a few minutes he/she calmed and did not even rattle...until I stood up of course!

I wish I could have gotten some better images, but I was not about to coax him/her out of the sheltered area. Time for me to get a proper flash. :)

Some of you guys have got some kahunas!! No way would I have taken that picture or gotten close enough to take that one. Other than the fact he is still alive, nice shot.

All w/ the 100-400 at very close to the minimum focusing distance. The tight shots are at 400 with varying crops.
