I will have the opportunity to shoot an MMA fight coming up next weekend. I have been told that I will be shooting from right down front, next to the cage. I won't have an issue evaluating the lighting and adjusting accordingly, but I wasn't sure if there was a tip on dealing with the chain-link fencing that will be right in front of me. I will be shooting my 40D with my 70-200 2.8 IS and my 24-105 IS. I'm assuming the 70-200 might be a little too much lens if the action is right in front of me.
I've never shot an event like this so I'm guessing I'll experiment with AI Servo as well as Single Shot focus. Any suggestions regarding the fence would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
