I just don't want my kids to click into the glamour/nude section. Is there any way to eliminate this room on my CP or make it invisible?

Thanks

Thank you. bw!

It can be done, but requires an Administrator. I've forwarded your request to the Administrators for action.

Question: are you asking to hide G&N section for username "MikeFairbanks" or someone else (your kids?). You're not letting you kids to use your account, are you?

I stay signed in.

99% of the time they just use little kids' sites (webkinz and such). I'm just trying to keep it safe. They don't use this account (and aren't really interested). But sometimes I go to the pets section and show them the pictures of all the different cats, dogs, etc.

Thank you. bw!

I do the same thing. My 2 oldest have their own laptop and I have parental-controlled the crap out of them. I am able to view their laptops anytime remotely. I don't normally do, but I can. Kudos to you, Mike, for wanting to keep your kids safe.

Thanks for the support.

The glamour section isn't that big of a deal (just art), but still. My kids are young and I'm in no mood to explain things yet. ;)

Agreed. We can't sterilize them from all things, but can do what we can do. My 2 oldest (10 and 8) are just about as interested in photography and lurk on POTN from time to time.

Then log out... pretty simple solution I think.

Mike, I have now disabled G&N Forum from your view. Please check that it is indeed so and let me know if there's anything else you need.

Yes, I just noticed a minute ago that Glamour and nude was removed. Thank you for doing that.

Thank you. bw!

Having been a mod in another photo forum i will happily take my hat off to the mods here for working with punters in this way. Pleasure to see some professionalism.

Pekka and the Mods here are the absolute best and that's why this forum is the best.

That said, shielding kids from glamour and nude? A bit prudish. After all, in Europe nudity is de riguer and there ain't a thing wrong with it. It's not porn, after all.
