Go easy on me never used a dslr before. C&C would be great i need to really learn all the features on this camera. Canon eos Rebel xs

Ha I finally have a gear list!
Canon 60D, 18-135, 50 1.8, 55-250,
Canon Rebel XS 18-55. Some flashes and filters and a tripod with a bag to put it all in!

Nice start with your new camera. Looks like you might have missed the focus just a little on the 1st one. The 2nd one looks a little soft. Did you sharpen them in post any?

no sharpening i have no idea of what to do after taking the pics, except crop which i did with the first.

Yeah, focus could be off a tad in both. Anyway, nice start, keep shooting and looking at the good examples you'll find here. Welcome to POTN.

Have you any software for processing pics? In photoshop, I often will use unsharp mask... Canon's digital photo professional also has some sharpening capabilities, and may have come with your camera. Welcome and thanks for sharing
