Is there any way you can put a comedy section under shared photos? Pictures of silly signs, cars floating down rivers, silly greeting cards, animals with heads stuck in jars, etc., along with manipulated images (some of my favorites were those DEmotivational posters that made fun of the motivational ones).

I really think it would have quite a following.

Thanks

Thank you. bw!

We already do from time to time...
Parody Motivator Generator

Have any funny animal shots ?

Post A funny Sports Image

Slightly rude street photography

Post your funniest "sign" pictures

POT'N I - The official toilet thread (but not sticky)

If you have some photos that merit a new thread, then go right ahead - we'd love to see them, just post in the appropriate section (or the Competitions section).

I'm confused on this website. Why are people so hesitant to open a new section? Is it because they're worried about having a hundred rooms? I understand that, but I think (as illustrated by your examples above) that it's warranted (a comedy section).

Think about life in general. A lot of what we view on the internet, tv, etc. is comedy. Funny images are a daily staple in internet usage.

We definitely need a comedy forum.

Thank you. bw!

A great deal of thought has gone into the list of sections on POTN that you see today, and the structure has a logical order. We don't add new section simply because someone asks for them.

The threads I quoted above fit neatly into the sections that we have set up and help to promote healthy interation between POTN's members.

If we had a "humour" section, then there's a good chance that people would migrate and stay there, denying them visibility. Also, people already have a habit of posting into the wrong areas - how would we know whether a semi humourous thread should go into the humour section, or remain where it's posted?

That's cool. But I appreciate the attention you gave to the question. Thanks again.
