I hope it's not to easy.

I, Lorenzo Casamares hereby confess that contrary to my human appearance am in fact a b@stard son of a chimpanzee and a orangutan and I have schemed to join the church in order to do harm to the holy office.

Is it "Goya's Ghosts"?
If so.....a quote.

That sounds like something with a samurai, I'm don't think this is right, Kill Bill?

Great one Robert, and you actually picked a film I've seen about 60 times

I did my final thesis in film school on Conrad's Heart of Darkness and how it compared to Apocalypse Now. Most of that final dialog by Brando was ad-libbed, and I think Coppola was insane to let him do it. Of course by the end of that film, almost everyone involved with the production had gone bat**** crazy.

An astounding movie! I've watched it many times and still feel scared, excited, claustrophobic, horrified as if I was watching for the first time. You are correct Chris. You're up.

( My final paper in Art School was on Rashomon by Akira Kurosawa)

Excellent! Kurosawa is one my favorites and we'll have to compare film notes some day. I went to the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, back in the early 80's - but never did anything with my film degree. I was the manager of a repertory film house for several years, and a projectionist and film reviewer as well - but ended up in the high tech sector. There are many days where I wish I had done something involved with film instead. Oh well :)

Ok, lets stick with Coppola (there's your hint) - fresh quote:

"Even the most primitive of societies have an innate respect for the insane."

Angel Heart. It's kinda cool, these quotes make me think of movies I saw years ago, making me want to dig em up again.
